I am almost as obsessed with magazines as I am with fiber. At my favorite bookstore I love to look at the newest publications. I am working on an organic cotton purse in walnut. This color is an earthy purplish brown.

This purse was designed by myself. I searched for African patterns on the web, and began to create the pattern. It was an extremely challenging pattern, and I knit it very tightly and it changed the shape of the purse. But I actually liked the shape and thought it was very purse like despite it’s issues. I think though that my favorite part is the handle which is braided I cord.
