This purse was so much easier to knit than the African purse. I like it so much I don’t want to sell it, I want to use it myself. I just love the rich look of the buttons too. Again my design was inspired by various images I looked for on the web and I did several pages of designs before I decided this one would be best. I had to change the pattern halfway into it because I had drawn the design sideways and it was not deep enough. It is lined with unbleached muslin and has two deep center pockets.
