Sabi is the suchness of ordinary objects, the basic, unmistakable uniquenss of a thing in and of itself.  Aware is a feeling of nostalgia, a longing for the past.  Yugen is mystery, the hidden, ineffable dimensions of reality.”  from The Zen of Creativity Cultivating  Your Artistic Life by John Daibo Loori.

    1. Dave,
The short answer is most of it is mine unless I say it was by a student or a show at the local museum. The knitted stuff I design myself, a friend and I sell the purses and animals at a local craft fair. She is, as a point of interest, a plant biologist in a biofuels (shrub willow) research environment.
Funny ’cause when I was looking at the pics this am I thought it doesn’t really represent the best of my work, more the works in progress. I guess most of my good stuff was on the old blog. Thanks for your compliments and interest. 🙂

  1. Hi Meg! This is Amaya M.’s mom.She has asked me to write and ‘friend’ you! LOL! I am just happy to know she has teachers she is so fond of.Take care.

    1. Hi! So glad you took the time to comment. This all came out of the kids discovering I was on Facebook and asking if they could friend me, and I said not until you turn 18! but if your parents want to that is another story. Your daughter is a lovely deeply kind and wonderful young woman! You should be proud of both of your children because they are the kind of children teachers love, they both work so hard and are well mannered! My best regards to you Shalitta!!
